This watch ends up on my wrist far more often than I expected when I bought it for a hundred bucks on Amazon two years ago. I picked it up because I wanted a beater watch - something expendable for those times when you’re working on a herring boat or slapjack pumping, and maybe don’t want to put your better timepieces at risk. It’s legible and has great lume so you can always read it. It’s an Eco-Drive so it’s durable and perpetual. It’s light so you barely notice it, especially on the natty slate blue NATO strap I got for it. It looks good enough to wear to the office, but you can take it on the herring boat if you need to.

As for vices, it has none. It’s good, low maintenance, and always available. I need more things like this in my life.
